numbers especially the parents who don't really get the chance to see what what their children get to experience throughout the day felt almost as if I will in a kind of a medley sort of assemblies that they get to see and to be able to see their what what they're what their children see between an inexperienced between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. was was something for them I felt that I could see that they really enjoyed that experience and so we look for two kind of building up on that and and making it an annual then if we cancel we both to be able to do something like that happen annual Showcase of what special programming we have for our all of our students here in addiction then it's moving on to music this Thursday will be having the old District concert which in a similar fact and is going to showcase our wonderful vocal music starting in the elementary school and going all the way to high school as well as their instrumental music program so I hope see you all there on Thursday evening in the community as well and then moving on to Athletics of course we've it's playoff season so we've put our girls a number for Spain representative in the postseason with girls water polo cup playing night and moving onto girls basketball and girls soccer on Thursday boys soccer on Friday so we're hoping bring home for big wins this week so that we can continue on into the post isn't for next week and that is my report thank you good evening Happy Valentine's Day and happy with school awareness day I've been totaled and yes thank you well things we met with our classified union today when everything good session with them I enjoyed the meeting all of them committed and wonderful people with the ask for that was really great work everyone's dedication to our students into our community I also thought the elementary prep committee last week that is permitted that has come out from negotiations to kind of continually look at our prep time to make sure if there's any way that we can have more time it's that committee that we were able to have our two new teachers at our elementary school's so we will be meeting an excuse and out of service animal meme meeting again and then finally with a chopper things are moving along will be sending four letters of intent to all of our employees and see who's coming back and who's not coming and then we can work on it tapping  I were working on a what's knowing is not disposition list in business services at the moment so we can carefully track vacancies as well as fill positions as we put together a budget that's a new in the beautification the roofing which was in the estimate I gave you last month it's the demolition of those two Bobby wallover in blue so there are some additional things we gave you the budget last month that two million dollars for the beautification project we're at the 3.1 less next on $1,000 but we are considerably over where we will be at the beautification scope probably have to look into some value engineering items look where we can save some money on it is a little bit of a challenge to the architect was given a million-dollar but lying to and working simply over there  so all those things combined between the change order the Funhouse rebuild and the beautification scope and then the associate the cost I've had a contingency for those projects as well does take us to 22 seven million dollars that's an increase of about 1.8 million dollar over well we told you last month that's approximate split between increasing the beautification skull and the asbestos I think we can find some places where we can save some money on the beautification scope but so you know just the top of head some of the things we'll talk about it it would truly need to ticket booths  I can get by one we can save some money none of those decisions were made this is this is based on everything that's in there now if I could just add in as you're thinking about all the questions that you want to ask a thing to consider or just like a scale to consider is passed to do a scope schedule so the longer it takes for prostin and it's been longer than this right cuz there's a years before this back-of-house area though this 5 and 6 is change order 5 and 6 that is dimona payments are taken care of it so we got into all of the spaces that we need to and fountains asbestos everywhere that there's left tulip we believe that we have essentially done that were concerned about the couple bathrooms but we think the impact of that would be tomorrow okay can you can you explain Chris kind of one of the terms of something that we talked about kind of how we got to this point meaning what about doing our test and kind of getting the readings that we're getting and kind of how this was happening and why why why it's been such a challenge and what we think maybe might have been might have caused this and trip to the original construction of cost just to kind of explain but I think Walls there's two different types of construction fill up to a certain point there's off on plaster and then above it there's plaster on button board so samples were taken in different areas inside and outside and the came some of the areas of higher we're hot and the plaster looks the same as in Corpus taking Sam pause took samples and they found out this is clean but there wasn't anticipate they found out that it was hot and as we continue to do the we have found that supposed to clean up that was there isn't very good but I'm in with my pictures that I've shared with every but where you can see all the overspray but we'd expect a little bit of debris on in any of these interior walls normal and that's kind of what I'm talking about when I talk about the bathroom we're going to find some but it's kind of the normal level of things that we're finding this has been so much more preaches and it's very difficult find at all look up reports that say that say it was a paid and then he's got areas some of the ones we've talked about have been underneath balls so there's no way for anybody to find it even if you destructive testing we wouldn't have found some of those things but we've got a built thing that has different construction it sometimes when I'm looking at and I they must have stopped that morning picked up a new batch of plaster as we have different type of materials does a very odd way of doing construction what we've done with this new plan is to assume everything's hot not looking for things so to address these issues as we know we're going to find other things so we basically remove everything and we're close to getting the building hindsight being 20-20 would have been better to do that from the start but they Ridge and wasn't going to be as robust in working or chairs or anything like that he wouldn't have wanted to do that kind of militon if you had all the season because you better protect all the seeds and all that now that we've gone with the beautification package were redoing all the seat is empty we do pop already rather than clean it or and do the demo get everything out there and then clean it up when we're done so we can get back to starting with the regular work next time also the demo understanding is that the Democrat versus to clean it is actually faster so it it increases the ads off because we're not we're not
