thank you I don't know if this Mike is on so should I talk to you makeover City at this is my superintendent report and I'll start with us and then I'll get a little bit broader so maybe start with our schools are City and kind of go into our country and really quickly we are having an amazing fall Sports season at Culver City it truly is amazing on perhaps one of the best of literally in the history of the school so we'll be playing in CIF finals for girls volleyball on Friday at Cerritos College at 2 p.m. on and it's more than just the game right it's more than is the girls in support of the team I'm it's really become not only a school not only a district but really just a community get behind so there must have been you gave out 400 shirts that kind of wall went out there were over a thousand people at the volleyball game last night ladies what are sweats in 3 on and it's not just that they're good and that they're well-coached it's that we have so many people at the games being a part of over City experiences and that were using social media also to share the experiences so that if you're not there it's as if you're there it's amazing football start CIF on Friday as well games at 7:30 at home under the number two seed I'm so we feel good about that drop have a tough game on Friday but I'm look to make deep fall Sports Rock winning CIF championships batter awesome when you're able to do that and it's awesome that we can say that's our goal right it's not just starkel to play paint and get together and have fun that's part of it but also the results matter we care about them and we're proud when were able to achieve and and bring people together that much longer so that's what's going on one thing at Sardis to thunder at Culver City High School but I think it's also just a district initiative which is part of the email that I sent out earlier today also today so today is the day after the election and so we operate in schools with students that are Bella thing opinions advocacy and we take seriously Civic engagement and participation in democracy on Tuesday again High School it was pretty it was pretty amazing so 2000 kids were able to participate in a mock election that was so well planned and thought out and meet it feels so much like going to the poles for 14 15 16 or 17 year old it was really really really incredible pictures of that are forthcoming so students had to check in the way that they would with a regular ID on had to kind of give their home address which was their homeroom and then terrified go to a polling station that was Private secure get on a computer that was again private with a list of initiatives both California ballot addition is Culver City initiatives and presidential and Senate and send initiative and soak after vote and then today this morning those results for read in conjunction with staff it's a student got to Britain got to see what their opinions were in relation to the staff opinions and then obviously in relation to the the national decision that was how communicated are participated in last night in line with that also teachers have been having really really important discussion each other Foster Civic engagement at all levels K through 12 in terms of how students are developing opinions and understanding not only the in process in the campaigning process but the rhetoric involved and also what happens now right cuz for a lot of our students it's kind of the first time that they might be remembering transition leadership or power had the same president in the United States the last year so you know if you were four year-old years ago you might not really remember what that hand off in power and so it's been a really really interesting day I'm to hear about how much teachers have really been thoughtful and precise about allowing in facilitating that conversation and also having students have really respectful discourse and an around each other about different opinions because different people think different thing for different reasons at different times and so that's something that we're going through as a school district right now I think lots of school districts are going through two depending no matter the geography whether you're in the last around the coast or in the South or to the north that's so I'm that's what's happening in Culver City schools and it's both exciting and important but something that I think is you should what's a Community member that that we take seriously and will continue to take seriously not only tomorrow not only next week but for years and years to come so thank you remember Pascal's members of the board and members of the community at good evening I would like to start my report by kind of extending on  reflection on on the day on my AJ Lee highlighted  just the thoughtful just the fuffle reflective kind of a mood that was to say that they had had very interesting operation discussions around during the lunch time all week last students were the ones who provoked provided information on the Statewide ballot measures and gave pros and cons South Beach of the measures to the students to give them opportunities to be informed on the coming belt measure that we would be coming give me upcoming mock trial said you know as we can promote this as a as a civic-minded school play California mocracy school I am really just so proud of the way we are modeling democracy and tolerance and respect ementary just everybody being aware that there might be some different up some questions that are arising and for us to use these as moment real moment that  touch us both in our personal lives but also throughout the community as well and chaos only have a place in R&R unitrin struction to be able to use that in and developing this for some of our students so I look forward to seeing some more of that I'm just on another note are Elementary Arts teachers are up and running and how lessons at Farragut started on Monday and has nice pictures or presented to us by the teachers where they first graders were we're working with Paul clay and cats and in making their own pieces of Art and really lovely bum facts that I'm really looking forward for all of our students to be able to engage with our certificated teachers in Visual Arts said that call teachers in elementary schools will be receiving all students will be receiving K through five tk35 elementary orchestra and on a final note I wanted to update the board the community on the Middle School Elementary Middle School chart adoption day have also come beyond their review process and they will be looking into series and throughout the next throughout February and will be able to provide us with a resume Gibson evening everyone just a couple of things wine last week we in Tennessee educational conference that was held up by 8 car fire Atkinson andelson Loya Ruud & Romo and pigeon the girl was the keynote speaker and so he never disappoint also care Culver City mentioned as ones Frank so we were like one of the things that always amazes me about the conference with the fact that they have an itch the law section and we get this really exciting 200-page book for real all of the changes in the long since looking at Marin right here because the attorneys but one of the changes has to do with California family Rights Act then maternity and paternity leave kind of coupling some of our our differential pay and basically Behavior Keep some of our employees and pay Dallas longer when they are on leave so we actually will be meeting with Karen next week to discuss the details that I have enjoyed going to the volleyball game and I've enjoyed seeing the fall music festival for a few reasons why has a proud mom my first year that my things yes I'm very excited he's very excited and it's the thing I think strikes me the most about all the different wonderful things are going on whether that weddings are the jungle Civic engagement is that we have many Outlets from students to to express themselves their voice their talent athletic all of that I think that call Pat that continue to plan things that people are very proud of him Culver City and some other things that I can help our students to go further we have CCF tienes negotiations next week and I'd like to come in Debbie hammy who is in the running for an award for the National Education Association patient support professional she won the date and now she is going for a national title so we will keep our fingers crossed and Debbie thank you call Sandy so we just got done with a really busy month of October I've already told you about most of it but the Haunted Hallway went really well we sold over 600 tickets for $2 before add and $4 at the door along with concession stand and snacks and it was I was one of people scaring and it and it was just so much to scare my friend to help out a lot of teacher parent volunteers to help with sales they helped I was set up and it was a Ross  so much pride and in November we will be having gobble games which essentially is 10 names of four students that they sign up and they're able to participate in a series of games for example we have a pie eating contest about things like that Julia and will be eliminated wanting that time until we have our overall winner and then we're going to have they're going to get a prize and it's just something fun that we've been doing for mirrors and it's always so much fun next week we have Wok and Roll on 17th which were really excited about and green 5 sorting on I swear we  center for the trash can to help kids sort their trash or anything that's what I thank you what's the pricing on the first which went really well and during lunch last week we talk slow presentations by students like you mention about all the propositions in California that for the mock election update and then I'm all collection of yesterday during lunch and 24% of students actually voted themselves a lot more than I expected I have theirs okay so Clinton won with 77% of the votes and 13.5 into Donald Trump and Kamala Harris won with 61.5% of votes no on state measure measure 62 about to leave out at 4 with 53.9% of people and that's the death penalty 56% of people voted yes on state Metro 64 which is the correlation marijuana 50.9% of Voters voted yes on 66 which is death penalty procedures 62.6 voted yes on state measure 50 63 which is firearms and ammunition sales and then 62.1 voted yes on state measure cigarette packs  and then 73.9 voted yes on the CW Network in water how about some did I didn't get I didn't write down the teacher one but yeah and then girls volleyball start Friday and I'll be around Earth as I can go out as soon as I can go into that and then was the Falls also by the playoffs and the spirit on Thursday fourth grade despite some kale thank you micardis is tough School Board super genesis super 10 I'm going to give you the fall sports update at the middle school we have the girls volleyball cross country and flag football girls play ball of sorts of playoffs we have over 90 girls playing girls volleyball 8th grade team seventh grade team and have an excellent years cross-country we 75 students running across country boys and girls they ran three track meets this year outstanding I think the crossover from cross-cut Angel High School lot of kids are participating cross-country it's great flag football started their playoff so we have 37 student-athletes and flight football great team and 6th grade team we are starting some new sports in the winter for for Middle School boys and girls tennis or is in real swimming girls lacrosse started in the winter while with basketball swimming it's pretty good we were kids were walking the kids over to the punch and they got three lines in the shower and so far it's working out really well at the high school we just start our Primetime soccer season on Monday and thank you sue for Josh on scrape program or soccer kids are helping some of the special needs kids playing soccer than we going to flight football on January and basketball to Great program and we have another home game on Monday 3:45 girls tennis finish 984 place we have 26 girl tennis players boys cross country came in fourth place in League girls cross-country came in third and they'll be participate CIF playoffs and we've got a young cross country team girls team really doing a good job we have 78 Runners competing in Cross Country a boys water polo lost in the first round of playoffs to Corona who's the number one seed and we have 33 players in boys water polo change 2 / 3.0 GPA outstanding football is 73 this year trili Champs with Lawndale El Segundo and Josh the second seed and I feel really good at this could be the tougher game of the next two so we get by Friday I think we're in for a good job good running playoffs the girls volleyball unbelievable 26 and 8 we have 124 football players in the program girls volleyball we have 46 coach X in the ocean League defeated Temple City St Margaret's Valley View in Quartz Hill will play Friday at 2 p.m. at versus Lorena at Cerritos College and you just been a great year like feeling she sending the attendance of the games are great and I want to Josh know I've always just worried about the coaches players and the facilities and just getting everything just focusing on that and now boy trying to reach out with his help on getting more students to come to the game and with a great ASP we have and and the support of everyone the games are really special and the girls after the game you know thank the crowd for coming at the gate at the school there walking around talking about how fun it is going to game all the kids to play their sports are coming up to coach we're going to get that many people at our games I said yeah that's what we're going to do so that's a lot of really great positive spirit and the confidence that the girls have its carrying over to everyone and I think that's a huge thing that we can keep their confidence up and all whether they come at 4th or 1st I think all the girls Wars are paying well they do on the classroom and they're doing well in the fields so and of course check thank you what numbers in French tags  I do feel totally any captains be able to speak right now so the only thing that I've been able to dredge up is that I attended a conference at UCLA recently called Art psychiatry  can I go to Neuroscience thing because my thing and it turned out to be fantastic and I did learn a lot about the latest developments in terms of some interventions in school settings and so one that I thought was appropriate for School climate is the discussion I went to on bullying and  so the reason I thought about it today because one of the Striking points is that bullies there's this misperception that Bullies Are size and loners and themselves suffering and that's why they act out on others as some sort of like revenge or something it's not true and the data shows that actually they're really they have much lower depression in much lower anxiety and they really do people like that from there bullying including need your coolness factors which apparently is measurable and so in terms of data and evidence based practices this researcher was trying to has been trying to convince people for some years that that is a misunderstanding and that we need to understand that he have to make bullying lesson in order to change that Phenomenon with any reliability and it wasn't until this past presidential election that she was a that's her audience to get faster and now people will believe her and so all this is from me to if it's some point in the near future we can have a report on what ocean disregards in terms of systematic addressing the bowling perfect to me okay on that note I I was really happy to get the robocall from the high schooler thing those Rebecca Mirvish would I got the call from and I thought that was just an awful thing School practically being sent out is actually nice to kind of get that call  I have to get my computer get on my computer went to the volleyball quarterfinals and I will say it was my first time attending one of their games and very exciting and I brought my 11 year old son who whispered over to me at one point this is more interesting than a pro baseball game tell you this is a boy who was going to Two World Series games in Fenway and it'll DS games and Dodger Stadium so I was like that's a pretty impressive, too pretty pass it along to the guns I would like well I guess I don't need to pay for those tickets then I'll just take you to floor volleyball game alright so we're going to make an offer on Friday to go cuz I think the kids are now or really jazzed up about going and trying to see them and I'm just imagine given my time there in that gym and hot hotness of it I'm really excited to see more of our students that athletes play in the facelifted facilities at some point in the future I did not go to the haunted Holloway I don't do scary things but our board members allowed to go to the gobble games dissipate  we were doing we were hoping the pie eating contest and then just did my first dumb I sat in on the sustainability committee meeting for my phone numbers and as my first time doing that and so  I just want to give a shout out to Shay Cunningham and Todd Johnson because they you know they really do a lot of work on my side and just all the expertise they provide but also just throw away they sort of bring it to the school district from the very collaborative inpatient way and shaved attendance and conference with clean schools and really made very probably important connection there with some of the DSA about that so just thanks to you okay I'm having so much fun going to volleyball games I can play Friday it's actually exhausting being an audience watching  I got I still got into it but I have to say the most beautiful part of it for me was that the end after our girls won and every student in the stands ran onto the court and it was a students hugging each other beautiful hi Susan so yeah I'll be there on Friday I'll be there Friday night too so this is like it was really hard for me was the PrimeTime Sports soccer game because it's wonderful wonderful experience for the special needs students but to see their student mentors who are soccer players on we're talking to you going around with him some of them holding hands helping them to play the game and it's it was a beautiful thing to watch helping helping each other out and encourage you if you guys it's it's it's really great it's really like to watch and I think his name is Luis police mysterious player you might have to get a lot of fun events the ATK performance events I went to see Dad and I and I also went to the lab Iona Fall Festival unfortunately arrived too late to be we've talked in the past about adding another fool to the some sort of  agreement between the city and the school district could do that and we thought we couldn't do it because you can send Bonnie Arnold thank you for inviting me here this evening to speak with you about sp4 15 there is a I do have a PowerPoint in SoHo everybody has a hard copy of it and there should be a few extra copies available on the thing buddy wants to take a look at it Texas okay alright so I was going to congratulate them on their election at the high school but I'm driving and speaking of electoral process we have sp4 15 which was it say there is some potential confusion about his this line explain that the law was passed in 2015 it is on the books now that is it was effective if you will as a general 16 gen that's what happened Waters bass was signed by the governor and September Comes Back to the following Junior ones on the books now but it doesn't impose obligations yeah we original explained about the kitchen until his operative date which is January 1st of 2018 house right now so univox School District don't have to do anything in response so it was passed by the legislature is referred to as sp415 you'll hear referred by its title which is the California voter participation Rights Act and it was introduced and passed the purpose of remedying low voter turnout at local elections held in off-cycle election years this is a lot of flies generally to local jurisdictions it's not simple to school districts it would apply other jurisdictions as well that doesn't fly to school districts so what does essentially is it says that something something  Don where does it where is that if there is low voter turnout as the law defines it well he says it is the losses after the Opera date of Jerry wanted 2018 local jurisdiction which resume food School dist isn't supposed to hold an off-cycle local election if that would result in low voter turnout has Define and as an enforcement mechanism cuz the question is always somebody says you got to do it then the natural question is or else what so the or else what in this case is that it provides is a remedy that voters within the jurisdiction can file a legal Challenge and if the if the jurisdiction has not if the if there is low voter turnout as defined in the law I have to jurisdiction has not changed directions schedule to go from off-cycle local elections to elections that coincide with Statewide general election dates ocean dates June or November which all explain then local voter can sue and can get a court order facially requiring the death of Kurt and plus they can get their legal fees so that's the that's the enforcement mechanism or by way of long as the legislature looked at this  they found that there is generally speaking low voter turnout in off-cycle elections there is a legislator found as well in the committee analysis that the voting public often does not look like there the general public is a hole in knighted does the governing body their words and so that is likely a reference to nation of protective classes in the election process and there's also a cost factor that that is that I'm holding all Psych elections can be expensive when you have low voter turnout and I tends to increase your per voter cost where is if you have them on the same day Statewide elections you can make point in the slide is that beginning of January Journey one of 2018 the jurisdiction that holds its regular elections on an election day is an June or November of even years can be sued force of change in the election date if turnout among eligible voters at one of the local regular elections with at least 25% lower than the average turnout in the jurisdiction of the prior for Statewide general election so it says comparison between turnout at the local election and the turnout at the previous for Statewide general elections that is the comparison that pending on how that turns out will trigger the other requirements the statue  and as I mentioned there are what is provided in law that if District does not do this on Zone and get sued then Mob Wives at court can order change an election date upgrades to election equipment or systems and because it's all explained the county supervisors has a role in the consolidation process the court also has the authority to order the County Board County Board of Supervisors to approve consolidate that's necessary to the process find of course there's always the the money and lawsuits cost money to bring and so in order make it easy for people to bring those lawsuits to bring about the change the legislature has indicated it wants to see in this statute the law provides for a successful playing up to recover a raise fees and costs including expert witness fees and is often the case in these kinds of statutes that provide for a lhasa to be brought against the public agency Bobby's on the public policy is legislature has deemed to be important the law provides that the planet is a planet wins the plans can recover attorneys fees but if the public agency it's not a two-way street so there's no prevailing defend it would not be able to recover attorneys fees you know the premise of the is that local jurisdictions are only if you look in the in the in some of the committee analysis for the law the findings are that you know low jurisdictions there's an implication of local jurisdictions are persisting in conducting elections in off-cycle years notwithstanding the expanse that it entails not sending low voter turnout other that causes you know the reason that school districts hold most School dist hold what cycle years it's cuz that's what the Education Code says were supposed to do so it's not like we came up with this idea on our own and so the legislature has pass this law that says Paisley it's it's it's set up as it as if there is some big contingency in like if the contingency occurs in the laws triggered what we see in most of an emotion on all the schools should we work with on this is the discrepancies are there so they might as well have passed a law that said if the sky is blue and the school district election after January 1st of 2018 then they are violating the law and therefore can be sued it doesn't have we don't know that we don't we don't currently have we will we will need to get the numbers for the Statewide app for the play White averages with in this jurisdiction cosmoholic I'll explain we have access to so you see here on this slide what the voter turnout has been in the last four local Culver City School Board elections that's one half of the or one side of the equation if you will Okay so in this this comes from the official canvas certificates that are mailed to the district after each election which Rebecca Williams was good enough to provide and that tells you you know the total number of registered voters in total number of Alex cast for each of these elections and so we see here that voter turnout for these past four local Culver City School District elections has been you know anywhere between 14 and 21% most recent being 14% that doesn't tell us whether the law is triggered however because what the law in or determine why the laws triggered you have to compare the turnout in a given Local School Board election with the voter turnout in V for Statewide general elections preceding The Local School Board election so for example you want to figure out whether based on the turnout in November of 2015 the law was triggered we would need to look at the Statewide general elections in 2014 10 and 8 make sense correct what was the Unified switch the we do not have those numbers this evening we would we would need to get those numbers it takes a little bit of time to get those numbers we don't those numbers that that information is not sent to romantically like the canvas certificate for the Culver City School Board elections so for most of the jurisdictions that we've been working with we have a demographer who gets in Nation from Berkeley about a two-week turnaround on those on getting those numbers so we can get those numbers we just don't have them yet and it was like he wasn't it wasn't readily accessible you know all that stuff thought it would be the only mean so but not to keep you in since I mean so the likelihood is that when we get those numbers we would fine this trigger there's not that's not really where the action is in this lot like I said it's not all the jurisdictions that were working with the discrepancy is there but just to be clear on what the analysis is how is how is that how is the lot triggered to turn it to turn out an just going to fly here if pulling and I can correct local election resulted in voter turnout at least 25% less than the average voter turnout with Culver City Unified for the four previous Statewide general elections then the law is triggered meaning that if this condition occurs as you on the sly it would be if it would be contrary to the law for the district to continue to hold off cycle local elections after January 1st 18 and the district could be sued under those Provisions that I described earlier to force change in the election schedule and the district could potentially be mobile for attorneys fees and related costs to the successful plaintiff yes please station between those two types of flowers. of looking at that is that it means as you see on the side here 25% less than whatever the average percentage was in the preceding for Statewide General so if the average percentage in the precinct for Statewide general elections was 80% then the threshold for triggering the law would be 60% meaning that if local if the local election turnout was less than 60% it would be triggered or to put it differently cuz we don't at this point in time for the information we have is on Culver is on turnout for the Local School Board election not for the Statewide general election we know that in the 2015 election turnout was 14% So based on that 14% is 75% of what number 18.7% if turn out if the average turnout in the for Statewide general elections within Culver City Unified And precede 2015 was above 18.7% the law would be triggered another possible interpretation and there is figurine the law we have no guidance from the courts as to how it should be interpreted so there could be some you know decisions to be made about which interpretation to follow depending on what more wants to do or not do about changing election dates on under the law another way another possible interpretation of the 25% less than phrase is that you take the average voter turnout in the last four Statewide general elections whatever whatever that percentage number was and you just subtract 25 so if it was 80% 80 - 25 would be 55 I think that the first interpretation is the more likely interpretation personally yeah you know so far in the district that I've seen it hasn't made a difference it it's like I say it's not even close so it hasn't I haven't seen a district yet where it's made a difference not said there couldn't be but in the district said I've seen so far they haven't had they haven't had to make a decision about which interpretation to follow cuz it wouldn't and by the way nothing says that you can only change it if the laws triggered I mean you know there's always the possibility find me dad if the law allows that that change to make me so so so what we do is we do two things number one we adopt if if the laws trigger to avoid potential liability under the law of we adopt a resolution to and consolidate the elections that this is Culver City Local School Board elections with the Statewide elections either June or November you have the choice to do I know what you do is you submit that resolution to the County Board of Supervisors and the county Support super under the elections code the County Board of Supervisors either or reject that resolution now for many years the County Board of Supervisors has had a policy of rejecting those resolutions and other reason why most School District what elections are not Consolidated with Statewide elections is because that consolidation required approval of the County Board of Supervisors in Los Angeles County County Board of Supervisors has had a policy of not approving that because of limitations on the ballot that is changed so you deserve June November like is there are there rationales for for either one and we want people to come out and vote so let's have the election in November because that's when the most people will vote and be engaged in the school board election the rationale for June is there's so much other stuff on the November ballot that the school board election might get kind of varied so let's have the election in June so that it's kind of more its own thing does the two standard rationales elections and junipers turn over and you've got a brand new board July Yahoo years yeah so that's the other most of the districts that I'm aware of they go to November November 1st June one more expense  every gold yeah I don't know I don't have I don't have turn that but that's information be submitted the County Board supervisors at least 240 days before the election so we're talking March nevermind  yes that's option number one if if status of the county and if that is and then and then subsequent elections would fall in 20 22 24 what's the number to number to which can be done separately or together with option number one is to adopt they plan to change the election by 2022  so there which is what we call the Safe Harbor provision let me get to that slide here this is the Safe Harbor I think the life preserver there is kind of a mixed metaphor of it the the Safe Harbor says so the law says that if you hold an election call Cycle election after 2018 you can be sued if the triggers are mad  but the loss of says unless you have prior to play January wanted 2018 adopted a plan to change your election by 2022 so you have a choice you can take now to change to consolidate before 2018 or you can take action now to adopt a plan to consolidate sometime after 2018 but before 2022 correct correct correct rationales on why to or not to do that or no district one of the you know that the county is in the middle of changing its voting system and and Technologies is going to the Inca vote system Bible one of the reasons potentially to go sooner than later is too assertive a first-come-first-serve basis historically as I mentioned there has been reluctance on the part of County Board of Supervisors to approve consolidations because of limited capacity on the ballot so far what we've seen is those requests that have been submitted under the new law have gone through no problem but at some point in time you know is it possible that there are you know so many where is jurisdictions are asking to consolidate faster than the county can accommodate that on its ballot maybe I'm not that I'm not saying that that would be the case but that's a possibility can you do it as soon as you're in the sooner you're done the sooner the sooner are the last once you once you've done it then it's it's taking care of an and you can't have some unanticipated problem arise the reason to wait I suppose would be you know I mean if there was a if it if it just there now there was a judgment that more time was needed within the community to kick it around and figure out what's good idea or not you know I mean what are the things that we've heard sometimes is that some board where is have a reluctance to take action to consolidate because it could create a perception that we're trying to extend our terms I don't think that that is a inaccurate or Fair perception because the reason because you really have no choice if you don't do it if the laws triggered either you do on your own or you're sitting duck for somebody to see you and then you got to do it and pay their attorneys fees  play is this impacting the city council elections as well I personally work almost entirely with schools and Community College District so I don't personally have experience on how it's playing out in city council elections I don't think the considerations would really be very different so there's no likelihood that we would end up ending on the same ballot as Barry's plan because they've already had their lawyer come to give them Council and they're not it does not abide so another I mentioned this briefly I think there is a short in that week we talked about the choice to be made under the consolidation process the local jurisdiction can basically submit its in a resolution its request to the County Board decided to go to the June Ballot or to go to the choice for the local jurisdiction to me and that would potentially affect you know the amount of time by what two terms are extended  so we've already talked about next steps stop it sued by just to kind of recap it way to knock it to number one is item number one here pass a resolution now to consolidate that resolution would then go to County Board of Supervisors they would either approve it or not if they approve it we're done if they don't then we're not done and we got what happens next we now and 2022 if they don't then that brings a boy to not get to number 2 which is to adopt pan under the Safe Harbor provision and what we've done in some of our districts this week taking both actions at once so we drop resolution number one that says consolidate and at the same time we adopt Hulu's number to that says in case of County Board of Supervisors doesn't approve this this is our plan to consolidate by 2022 and then that at least five this time the plan does it has no effect by itself cuz we still can't consolidate without the County Board of Supervisors but it's a sort of an insurance policy if you want and then Stein alternatively you could drop resolution number one and if it gets rejected then come back and adopt a plan but now we're getting kind of close I mean you know County Board goes to the play board in March or April you could go earlier but they have up to 60 days to axe and now we're talking May June we're getting kind of close to November you know 6 months or less away from January wanted 2018 to adopt a plane the plan has to be adopted before January 1st 2018 your take advantage of that Safe Harbor  and you see here just kind of steps that I mentioned earlier resolution is adopted it goes to the County Board of Supervisors that is the resolution to consolidate and they make a decision within 60 days if it is approved the term of four members are extended with the losses is as appropriate but when you start at racing through basically what we think that means is up to a year if it's too if it goes to November date or will be up to up to seven or eight months if it goes to it to a June day in pain when the day changes supervisors then within 30 days the it is required to notify affected voters by nail of the approval is required to pay the cost of that nailing I don't I figure on that for you we can certainly get that I didn't have
