today you get a chance to show it to a great Stellar's you are and not only that just how courageous you are because it takes a lot of guts to do what you do so let's get it started and before we get started let me introduce Marcia from the fine Shriver our daughter went to this school She Loved Words and reading and she had one big dream to become a writer now she teaches writing at a major university and she wrote a prize-winning book this one that came out just a few days ago in book stores nationwide we're so proud of her and we're sponsoring the spelling bee to encourage other kids Who Loved Words and work you spell hers to dream big to starting in this room at this school your dreams can also come true oceans from our family to all the spellers good evening I need turn those big giant name tags as well so I can double-check I'm Dave Larose on the superintendent in South Kitsap School tickets app  that's a couple districts ago can I recently been accused of not having very much new material so I just I just proved that didn't I alright so let's start things off and shift the level of embarrassment to our to our school administrators so if we could we going to start off with the spelling bee with the principal kids would you like say that would you like to see a spelling bee by having a principal conviction no it's just I didn't see five hands go up when I suggested that thank you guys for being here it just want to commend everybody that makes this possible I appreciated the comments that Marsha just shared about her daughter and the power and the influence of the school and and our Touchstone is success for all takes us all and success for all is single one of our students no exception order for that to happen it does certainly take a village and their success is certainly a true to you your level of commitment your support your encouragement occasional accountability motivation that you can provide so I can I certainly want to commend our school leaders for the role that they play in being caretakers of their children and of their staff and I certainly want to thank and celebrate all of the teachers in the room more the hours of love and encouragement that you give to your children on your student so please said join me and giving yourself are administrators in our teachers a big hand so do we really want to apply tonight those
