Each CCUSD school has a Health Office staffed by members of the Health Services Team. The team is composed of four credentialed Registered School Nurses (RN) who oversee all schools in CCUSD, six Licensed Vocational Nurses and three Health Technicians.
The Health Office is a safe and welcoming space for students. Staff provides first aid for injuries, guidance for symptoms of illness, and response to emergencies. They manage and administer scheduled and as-needed medications for students. Staff also coordinates school site health needs such as vision, hearing, and dental screenings. Credentialed Registered School Nurses provide case management for students with chronic health conditions.
