General Permit Information
CCUSD is currently accepting interdistrict permit applications for the 2024-2025 school year.
As of October 24th CCUSD has space in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th-12th grade.
In our Dual Language Program we have space in the following grades:
- Japanese: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th & 5th
- Spanish: Kindergarten - 5th grade.
Please note that permit approvals are based on space availability at time of application. Enrollment changes daily.
Interdistrict Permit – Incoming
Available to families who live outside of the CCUSD boundaries and wish to attend one of CCUSD’s five elementary schools, Culver City Middle School, or Culver City High School.
March 1, 2024 - July 22, 2024
Note: placement in El Marino or La Ballona TK English, does not give students priority acceptance into the Dual Language Program for kindergarten.

Available to families who live within the CCUSD boundaries and wish to attend a school outside of CCUSD.

Intradistrict Transfer
Available to families who live within the CCUSD boundaries and wish to attend one of the following schools instead of their home school for grades TK-5: El Rincon, Farragut, La Ballona-English, or Linwood E. Howe.
February 10, 2024 - March 17, 2024 for TK and Kindergarten
April 15, 2024- May 15, 2024 for 1st - 5th grade
